ABSTRACT

An extensive article about the Ballard mold case in Dripping Springs , Texas . The Ballard's case made national headlines because of the extensive damage that was done to their home and family. The Ballard's lived in a 22-room, 11,000 square foot mansion that was so infested with mold that they began coughing up blood and suffering from memory loss. Mr. Ballard eventually quit his job because his physical and mental ailments were so debilitating. They were awarded around $32 million, however it was later reduced to approximately $4 million.
