New Products
New Advantage II

, the leader in airflow measurement technology, proudly introduces the next generation of its highly successful, field-proven Gold Series Airflow\Temperature Transmitters. The Advantage II series includes significant hardware and firmware upgrades for expanded options and features that address the new and emerging challenges in HVAC and building industry standards, LEED® requirements and green initiatives.

Available options include:

  • An innovative Data Logger card for USB ‘thumb drive’ capture of continuous, time-date stamped airflow and temperature data.
  • A new combination Analog/RS-485 card that complements ’s existing network card options for concurrent output of analog and RS-485 data streams using, Modbus®, Metasys®, or BACnet® network protocols and robust communications with virtually all modern building automation systems (BAS).
  • An extremely versatile programmable analog Alarm Output feature provides options for High limit, Low limit and Dead-band operating range along with adjustable hysteresis and selectable active high/active low alarm notification.
New TriStat

, the leader in airflow measurement technology, is pleased to introduce its new BACnet® CO2/RH/Temperature sensor. This innovative package results in economical measurement by providing three key parameters essential for acceptable IAQ over a single, twisted pair, RS-485 network cable. It is ideal for variable occupancy spaces that are not well suited for direct occupant counting sensors. When combined with airflow measurement devices, this new sensor package can help you obtain LEED® points, satisfy the Ventilation Rate Procedure (VRP) of ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2007 and reduce energy consumption.

New ELF probe

Introducing the ELF (Electronic Low Flow) probe for accurate terminal box airflow measurement, even at very low airflow rates. This exciting new product provides the field-proven performance advantages of ’s thermal dispersion technology at a very affordable price.

Each ELF probe is factory calibrated between 0 and 3,000 fpm to volumetric airflow standards and is accurate to within 3% of reading (calibration certificate provided). Each device requires 24 VAC power and has field selectable 0-10 VDC / 2-10 VDC linear output signals. Four output full scale ranges are available for both airflow and equivalent velocity pressure. The velocity pressure output is provided for application controllers that can only accept input from differential pressure transducers connected to traditional flow crosses and rings. No additional transmitters or transducers are required.

New Fan Inlet Design

has developed a unique Face Mount Fan Inlet sensor mounting system designed for plenum fan applications that are typically much more sensitive to disturbances in the fan Inlet area. Traditional throat mounting sensor applications may result in degradation of fan performance and increased noise generation on some manufacturer's plenum fans. The new Face Mount fan inlet design all but eliminates fan degradation and noise issues on these sensitive fans, while placing the sensors in the optimum location for plenum fan applications.

The new Face Mount Fan Inlet sensors are available for Gold, Hybrid and Silver Series products in six standard sizes spanning inlet face diameters of 11" to 64".

Hybrid Series Fan Inlet

introduces a new generation of advanced thermal dispersion air flow measurement system (AFMS) technology for Fan Inlet applications. The HTx104-F Hybrid Fan Inlet AFMS combines the features of our successful and extremely accurate Gold Series products with the economy of the Silver Series product line. Available in traditional throat mount and our new face mount sensor styles for sensitive plenum fan applications, the Hybrid HTx104-F features an LCD display as well as a new built in Field Calibration Wizard feature that permits field adjustment of AFMS factory calibration when required for commissioning and/or test and balance measurement resolution. The HTx104-F is available in a wide range of sizes for virtually any fan, and in analog and network versions permitting direct interface with most building automation systems.

Hybrid Series Plenum Probes

introduces a new line of air flow measurement systems that combine the features and accuracy of the top of the line Gold Series and the economy of the Silver Series. Designed to accept a full range of advanced thermal dispersion sensors, the Hybrid Series transmitters include an LCD display and network capability to virtually all building automation systems. In addition, a new built in Field Calibration Wizard allows for simple field adjustment to air balance measurement when field calibration is desired.

Air flow measurement sensors designed for the Hybrid series include applications for duct and plenum, fan inlet, pressure differential "bleed' sensors, and terminal/VAV box probes.

A newly designed Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) air flow measurement system is to be released later this year. This new Hybrid product, model HTx104-E will ensure accurate measurement of airflow in ERV enthalpy systems where accurate air flow measurement at extremely low flow and at full flow is critical to ensure energy savings.
